Organizing notes with notebooks
Even with thousands of notes, using notebooks will always help you keep your notes organized and tidy with easy access. Every notebook consists of different topics where you can add and create your notes.
Creating a notebook
Desktop/Web
- Go to
Notebooksfrom side menu. - Click on the
+button on top right corner to openCreate notebookdialog - Add title and description(Optional) to for your notebook.
- Add topics to your notebook.
- Click on
Addbutton. - You have created your notebook!
Mobile
- Go to
Notebooksfrom side menu. - Press the
+button on bottom right corner to openCreate notebookdialog - Add title and description(Optional) to for your notebook.
- Add topics to your notebook.
- Press the
Addbutton. - You have created your notebook!
Editing an existing notebook
Desktop/Web
- Go to
Notebooksfrom side menu. - Right click on the Notebook or click on the
three-dot morebutton to openNotebook properties - Select
Edit Notebook - Edit the title or description
- Add/Remove/Rename any topics
- Click on
Edit notebookbutton to save the changes
Mobile
- Go to
Notebooksfrom side menu - Press the
three-dot morebutton on the notebook to openNotebook propertiessheet - Press on
Edit Notebook - Add title and description(Optional) to for your notebook
- Add topics to your notebook.
- Press
Savebutton to save changes
Adding a new topic
Desktop/Web
- Go to
Notebooksand open a notebook - Click on the
+button on top right corner to openAdd topicdialog - Enter title of the topic
- Click on
Addbutton to add topic. - You have added a new topic to notebook
Mobile
- Go to
Notebooksand open a notebook - Press the
+button on bottom right corner to openAdd topicdialog - Enter title of the topic
- Press the
Addbutton. - You have added a new topic to notebook
Editing an existing topic
Desktop/Web
- Go to
Notebooksand open a notebook - Right click on a topic or click on
three-dot morebutton to openEdit topicdialog - Enter the new title for the topic
- Click on
Edit topicbutton to save changes
Mobile
- Go to

three-dot morebutton to openTopic properties - Press on
Edit topicto openEdit topicdialog - Enter the new title for the topic
- Press
Savebutton to save changes
Creating a new note in topic
Desktop/Web
- Go to
Notebooksand open a notebook - Open the topic in which you want to add a note
- Click on the
+button on top right corner and start writing note in the editor - Note will be added to the topic
Mobile
- Go to
Notebooksand open a notebook - Open the topic in which you want to add a note.
- Click on the
+button on bottom right corner to open the editor or just swipe from right to left to open editor - Start writing in editor to create a note in the topic
Adding an existing note to a topic
Desktop/Web
- Right click on a note or click on the
three-dot morebutton to openNote propertiessheet - Select
Add to Notebook(s) - Click on a notebook to expand topics
- Select the topic(s) in which you want to add your note. A single note can exist in multiple topics and notebooks.
- You can also create new topics/notebooks from the dialog quickly
- Click done to close the dialog.
Mobile
- Press the
three-dot morebutton to openNote propertiessheet - Press on
Add to - Press on a notebook to expand topics
- Select the topic(s) where you want to add your note. A single note can exist in multiple topics and notebooks.
- You can also create new topics/notebooks from the dialog quickly
- Once done, swipe down to close

Adding multiple notes to a topic
Desktop/Web
- Right click on a note or click on the
three-dot morebutton toNote propertiesmenu - Click on
Selectto enter multi-select mode - Click on the notes you want to select.
- Click on the
notebook-plusbutton to the header to openAdd to notebook(s)dialog - Click on a notebook to expand topics
- Select the topic(s) in which you want to add your notes. Notes can exist in multiple topics and notebooks.
- You can also create new topics/notebooks from the dialog quickly
- Click done to close

Mobile
- Long press on a note.
- Click on
Selectfrom theAction bar. - Press on the notes you want to select
- Press the
+button in top header to openAdd to notebooksheet - Click on a notebook to expand topics
- Select the topic(s) where you want to add your note. Notes can exist in multiple topics and notebooks.
- You can also create new topics/notebooks from the dialog quickly
- Once done, swipe down to close the sheet.
Remove note from a topic
Desktop/Web
- Right click on a note or click on the
three-dot morebutton to openNote propertiesmenu - Select
Add to Notebook(s) - The notebooks in which the note exists will appear green. Click on the notebook to expand topics
- Click on the topics in notebook from which you want to remove th note. A single note can exist in multiple topics and notebooks.
- Click done to close the dialog.
Mobile
- Press the
three-dot morebutton on the note to openNote propertiessheet - Press on
Add to - The notebook(s) in which the note exists will appear green. Press on a notebook to expand topics
- Press on
remove notebutton on a topic to remove the note. - Once done, swipe down to close
Add to notebook(s)sheet.
Delete a topic
Desktop/Web
- Go to
Notebooksand open the notebook from which you want to delete a topic. - Right click on the topic or click on the
three-dot morebutton to openTopic propertiesmenu - Click on
Deleteto delete the topic.
Mobile
- Go to
Notebooksfrom side menu and open the notebook from which you want to delete a topic. - Press the
three-dot morebutton to openTopic propertiessheet - Press
Deleteto delete the topic.
Move a notebook to trash
Desktop/Web
- Go to
Notebooks - Right click on the topic or click on the
three-dot morebutton to openNotebook propertiesmenu - Click on
Move to trash. - Notebook will be kept in trash for 7 days after which it will be permanently removed.
Mobile
- Go to
Notebooks - Press the
three-dot morebutton to openNotebook propertiessheet - Press
Move to trashto delete the topic. - Notebook will be kept in trash for 7 days after which it will be permanently removed.
