[[Become a backer](https://opencollective.com/dokku#backer)] ## Requirements A fresh VM running any of the following operating systems: - Ubuntu 16.04/18.04/20.04 x64 - Any currently supported release - Debian 9+ x64 - CentOS 7 x64 *(experimental)* - Arch Linux x64 *(experimental)* An SSH keypair that can be used for application deployment. If this exists before installation, it will be automatically imported into dokku. Otherwise, you will need to import the keypair manually after installation using `dokku ssh-keys:add`. ## Installation To install the latest stable release, run the following commands as a user who has access to `sudo`: ```shell wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dokku/dokku/v0.24.3/bootstrap.sh sudo DOKKU_TAG=v0.24.3 bash bootstrap.sh ``` You can then proceed to the ip address or domain name associated with your server to complete the web-based installation.
